Watkins Memorial High School, Pataskala, Ohio Volksfest 32 Wrap Up By Mark and Debi Garrett Volksfest 32 is in the books, and from all the feedback (both at the show yesterday) and on social media today, it was another rousing success. While the show car count was down from previous years likely due to the weather forecast predicting rain and severe weather, it never materialized at the show site. The vender area was packed, and the spectator flow was steady throughout the day. The only negative comments were related to the lack of spectator parking due to the previous main spectator area being readied for a building project. We found this out TWO WEEKS before the show, so there was really no time to come up with another plan. We moved the awards ceremony back to 3pm to get everyone on the road safely ahead of any bad weather. Checks were presented to God's Hygiene, Helping Hands Clinic and Pedal for Pete. And to wrap things up, we announced that Volksfest 33 will be moving to an exciting NEW LOCATION for 2024! Be sure to watch the COVVC website and Facebook page for the big announcement soon. A big thanks to all of the fantastic COVVC volunteers that make Volksfest possible. And a big shout out to the loyal show car owners, venders and spectators that make the show what it is today.
